Welcome! I’m glad you have found your way here – it means you are taking steps to a more fulfilling life. Counselling can help you move on from the past, become more engaged with the present, and make plans and goals for the future.
Perhaps you would like to tell your story and be heard. Maybe you have found yourself with low confidence, feelings of ‘not good enough’, having experienced abuse or recurrent losses. Perhaps you are unfulfilled. You may even be at crisis point. You might not know what’s happening but you know something has to change.
We can explore and try to understand what you are experiencing. I believe self-understanding can lead to choice. We can explore relationships and make sense of them, and explore coping strategies that may have become unhelpful (eg binge eating, purging, drinking), finding ways to replace these with other ways of coping.
